Innovative Limb-Saving Treatment

Our patient journey unfolded as a testament to the institution’s commitment to innovative and patient-centered care. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rapidly progressing form of cancer, he faced the possibility of leg amputation at other medical centers. Seeking a more comprehensive solution, his family turned to the hospital in Turkiye. Rather than performing amputation, the surgical team removed the tumor, skillfully implanted a prosthesis to fill the void, and seamlessly integrated the rest of the treatment plan.
